I can not really help you, seems you have to contact phase one.

Just wanted to note that I love to see 20 Austrian Schillings, since I am an Austrian 😊

Support for the Canon 5Ds(r) is preliminary. You can contact Phase One with your concern.

    Hello,

I've waited for final samples to post a message on these boards but alas they haven't changed anything to an issue I've noticed with Capture One and 5DS(r) files. Basically, when I push files by several stops, the darker tones take a greenish cast compared to the behaviour of Capture One with other, typical Canon files (5DIII, 6D, 7DII, etc.). Here's a picture to show the issue using three 5DS(r) files (pre-production 5DSR, and production 5DSR and 5DS), a 5DIII, a 6D, and a 7DII. The 5DS(r) files should be quite obvious.

This happens regardless of the zoom setting, or chromatic noise reduction.

Am I doing something wrong or is this CO's default behaviour ? If so, is it an issue Phase One is aware of and plans to correct for the next update ? I believe the 5DS(r) isn't yet officially supported, could it be the reason why the profile appears not finalised ?

    Thanks.

I think your expectation of observation to fix time is somewhat optimistic.

It's a new camera, support is Preliminary - which probably implies that no full testing and analysis of a production camera has yet been possible due to lack of availability - and you are pushing things by "several stops".

Maybe the quick fix would be to restrict how many stops an image can be pushed.
