How to copy settings from CO 5 to CO 6?

Joachim, good question. I assume you refer to presets. Have been playing around with it comparing CO5 with 6.

First, CO6 stores the presets in a different folder (Presets60) than its predecessors. Also the file naming and probably format have been changed. Presets in CO6 are now more sophisticated, allowing you to save parts of the adjustments. For example, a Exposure Tool preset can now hold the Exposure and Saturation slider values only leaving the values of the other two slider out. To summarize, presets in CO6 are a new story, as you might have noticed. So no exchange at file level possible.

For bringing your presets from 5 to 6 I suggest the following workflow. You need both CO5 and 6 (not necessarily on the same computer, but it is more convenient if you have). You take a few images, apply your presets (you can apply presets from different tools to one image here) with CO5. Next, open them in CO6 and save the adjustments as presets. This is basically redoing them though without to set the actual settings first.

Hope this helps. It is some work but you get better preset functionality in CO6.

It is not necessary to copy the presets. I found all my presets from version 5 in the version 6. 🤭
The installation of CO6 copied all presets from CO5 to CO6.

I did not see that first because there is a new icon to select the presets.
It is great that I now just have to move the cursor over the presets and I directly see the result with my photo.
