The order in which you did what can be relevant. Plus some more.
- First, where the images (with CO6 adjustments) opened before in CO7 with a version prior to 7.2, and where the adjustments retained properly? In other words, is it a 7.2 issue?
- Did you do any adjustment with CO6 after being opened in CO7? If that is the case, the adjustments won't get through in CO7.
- Check the processing engine used in CO7 (Base Characteristics tool). Upgrading the engine from CO6 to CO7 can affect brightness of images, hence it is a manual process.
- Last, in case you did what I mentioned in First, it could happened that not all CO6 adjustments were read properly in CO7.
To summarize, troubleshooting the issue can be complicated, so moving out potential scenarios could help.0 -
Today i open this session and many images were darker than i set before: the settings seems to be ok but the image (and the previews) are darker, like if the exposure was not correct (but it's not so).
I also try to cancel the CO folder (before i save it on desktop), but also the new generated previews became darker (really strange).
If i open one of this image in Capture NX are not so dark, so i think that was a problem of CO.0 -
I have a backup of the folder (with NEF and CO's folder of settings) and if i try to choose this folder there are no problems.
But the question is: why with the other folder image and previews are darker? And why if erase the CO folder with settings and preview the new previews and images, after selection of the folder, are darker too?
It has no sense, because CO doesn't affect NEF, so if i erase the CO's folder NEF should return as i shooted, or i'm wrong?0 -
But.....Why if i newly import NEF in a new folder and than i open in C.O. the preview still became darker (darker than the image was shooting).....AHHHHH...i'm going to be crazy. help 0 -
