Where is the manual for Capture One 4?
To many things changes from the most current version of 3, and I don't have time to "play with it" to figure it out. I have searched the Phase One Website and found nothing. Please can someone point me to it?

Go to the "Help" menu and select "Capture One Help". That will launch the manual. 0 -
Phase One support replied to my inquire, posted below.
There is a User guide which is accessible by selecting Capture One Help from the help menu. The camera profile is accessible from the Quick Tool.
Kind regards,

I think what the question describes is the fact that the "manual" or help files are not all that helpful. For instance, last night it took me 45 minutes to figure out where the lens cast tool is now. The "manual" in help simply stated that there is a lens cast tool in C4. A Manual should describe what it is, where it is and exactky how to use it.
I have spent an hour again tonight attempting to figure out how to select multiple images to process them. Yes, I have 45 image files selected. But they process one at a time, as they are highlighted. How do I highlight all 45? I have no idea one hour later.
My experience has been a lot of digging and poking around and eventually I stumble upon what I am looking for. This is a huge set back for my work flow. So as long as I am on the topic, can anyone kindly describe how I select multiple images to process them> Thanks in advance.[/code]0 -
As described in a few recent posts, to batch process you select the files in the browser and press Shift-process to batch process otherwise it only processes the image that's displayed large. It's one of those silly commands that V4 asks us to do that 3.7.7 didn't.

Just to answer this, In 3.7.7 you had to switch between side by side mode and single image mode.
So if you are in a situation where you are comparing images side by side and want to process the image you want to keep. Well now it will process the primary selected (which has a bold frame)
This is really the only way to handle to different scenarios.
Unless you change the functionality in single image mode and multi image mode but this will result in inconsistency.0 -
High light the images you want to group in the browser. I adjust the primary image of a set, save adjustments, apply adjustments, using the adjustment menu (Square with horizontal lines).
Then to batch process the images you have selected, try "Command (Apple key) + D".
this short cut reduces mouse movement, using the keyboard is the quickest way to use capture.
good luck, we need a proper manual.0 -
Sorry guys, short cut has gone.
I have been having terrible problems with Nikon D3 and capture 4. I now realized I had not updated correctly to the release version and was using the beta2.
So now I'm a happy bunny with image quality, What happened to the Batch process short cut. Like most people here I have lots of images to process, short cuts help.
Command+D does not now work on all selected images, just the primary one. Cool move, now I just need to right arrow though each images with my right hand, Command + D with my left as I go. Nice workflow.
Now I know some like the new interface and it will probably grow. I've got used to it and in many respects it is better.
Lets have the short cuts back we need to process 300 plus images quickly like we could before!0 -

I suggest you also try to read a few postings, just for your own benefit (not meant as offense, just being honest). In this thread alone the solution to your Command+D question has already been answered and explained as it is in many other threads the last few days. To cut short, use the Shift-key with your command.
Enjoy CO4. After two weeks working extensively with it, willing to learn a few new tricks (and discover more) it is a tool that gives us beautiful images and great control over raw data in terms of adjustments.0
