    Keith,

I know that. Just trying to raise a little awareness that there are a few Sony A99 and Capture one photographers out there. Not holding my breath on this

Out of interest, does Sony make a development tool kit available for people to use to develop the functionality?

od DP review someone claims that he got it working on C1 using the same method.

The approaches are using regular 'watched folder' concept. You don;t have direect control foo the camera via the editor application so you need to keep the Sony control program running.

In a fully integrated tether the host application offers the camera manufacturer's control through an integrated screen rather than having to run another application. Full integration looks more professional in a Studio with the client present and no doubt has a few more useful workflow benefits but in the end the results are broadly the same.
