Progress Spinner not working

I have a script that fills in metadata fields including Original Filename. I am running CO Version 20.04 on Mojave.
The Spinner no longer works as it did in previous versions when selection say 150 image files. Anyone else having this problem and have a solution? The Spinner works for other CO processes but not for my script. It may try for a blink or two but doesn't stay on until the end.
