    More details please!
    What is a "fresh OS"?
    Where are your RAW files?
    Session or Catalog?

With your system, if the files are on an external volume and your using a Session, odds are performance is lost in the connection to the files. A Catalog will improve speed or working on the local SSD.

I'm using a catalog with local files on a SSD Drive.
    it's MAc OSx 10.9.4
Fresh OS means that it's been installed 2 days ago

Well... that's not on level with what majority of users are seeing.
Please create a support case and lets have a look.

Support case still open... any other report of such problem?
It gets slow once I have 2+ cloning or healing layers.

I have this problem. I'm running the trial version of CO8 on a new 4.0 Ghz iMac 32GB 1TBSSD all internal. I'm editing 20MP 7DII CR2 files. Clone and Heal tools are very slow and the editing session essentially stops responding if you've got more than 3 or 4 stacked steps.

Totally unacceptable performance. Makes Capture NX2 look like a speed demon.
