Importing of XMP data from LR CC - NOT!
Hello all,
I use LR CC as a catalogue for adding keywords to my images only (as many others do).
I have set up (within Capture One under Image> Preferences> Image) 'Auto Sync sidecar XMP' to read None, Load and Full Sync (re-booting between to see if it took) but it still isn't picking up the keywords that I added to images with LR CC.
I also have the two boxes under this ticked.
I've read and re-read everything I can find on this forum with regard to this and I still can't make it pick up the XMP from LR CC.
By the way, LR CC is set to 'Automatically write changes into XMP '.
Any advice you can give to an old pensioner who would tear his hair out with frustration if he had any would be very well received... 😊
Thanks

Hi,
You may want to have a look at this: https://captureintegration.com/transiti ... one-pro-7/
Note also that setting Lightroom to Automatically write changes to XMP ONLY writes new adjustments to XMP, i.e. those that happen after you activate that setting. To write all metadata to XMP you have to select the images and then select Metadata -> Save metadata to file.0 -
AiDon,
Thank you so much for your input, it's very much appreciated.
Your suggestion of Metadata -> Save meta data to file worked a treat, everything is syncing as it should do now.
You'd think that by now you wouldn't have to save the meta data to the XMP files in this way, it should be automatic?0
