Old files overwriting new files

    Capture One views files as they are, located somewhere in your physical hard drive. Because of this it is not possible for there to be two files with the same name in the same location, your OS should not allow this.
    If you have a Folder of images that Capture One has viewed and then you remove those files and replace them with new files (that have the same name) Capture One will have no reason to suspect the files are new as the names remain the same. In that case it would not generate new Proxie files and you may see thumbnails that are different from the Preview. The best way to remedy this is to put the new files in a new folder and then access that location through Capture One, it will read them as new and display them accordingly.

    Thank you! Figured out the editing problem. Still working on the overwriting within the software.
