Images are not fully rendering
I'm not sure which version this started with, possibly earlier, but I remember having the issue in 7.13 and now 7.15.
While working at some point the images selected do not fully render. They stay in a pixelated state. I try different tools to clear this. I try the focus tool as well. This didn't fix it.
This forces me to close and relaunch C1 which is rather time consuming, aside from disrupting work.
I have a GeForce GTX 460 on 64bit Win7.
Any suggestions or info I can provide, let me know.
Thanks

With 7.15, I have a long delay before the image shows with any slight changes.
It also splits the image with a mirror view of it with a line vertical, then a few seconds later shows up correct...This is the normal way it is "working" now, otherwise it will stay in the pixelated state that will not render a clear image to edit.0 -
Raffi,
Having just replied on your other thread I see you are still having problems that you thought were resolved - or at least that is how I read things.
Are you working tethered or importing the images after a shoot? At what point (in either workflow) does the rendering appear as a problem? As the files are added to the session or at some point after they have been edited?
As a first check can I suggest you create a completely new session in a new folder and try shooting into that session if tethered or importing (from a card) into that session if not tethered. If your RAW files are already on your computer you don't need to import them BUT ideally you would want to avoid the chance that existing adjustments would also be employed at this stage of investigation. You are just experimenting to see what occurs at the moment. You can worry about saving existing work into a new session from a faulty session when you have some certainty that the fixes suggested are on the right track.
HTH.

Yes, still having issues.
I want to say It happens as I edit. I shoot tethered, then jump in sometimes to make adjustments, and it can go Pixelated on me, or if I just open from a past shot session, and that too can get stuck at a pixelated level image preview.
I am tethered when shooting.
I can for now make a new session and add fresh files to the session. This you think might solve the issue? how would I prevent this phenomenon from reoccurring, or even for me to remember this remedy when and if it does reoccur ?:-)0 -
Raffi3, please create a support case so we can help. 0 -
I just did. 0 -
I get a reply back with a number of questions and the log files. So I write a nice long list of things they asked, and then I had trouble accessing my Doc&Settings folder. So I ended up needing to take ownership as Admin for my drive. So after that I was able to find the log files zip it up, write a few more sentences. I guess by the time I was back my login session was timed out! So I got a Error500. All I wrote is gone, and I have to redo everything to reply to a trouble ticket. How much more inconvenient can it be to delete all the info written?
Why not retain that info and allow a seamless relogin ? (As many forum sites do, let alone an official support site).
This should be fixed.0 -
Hi Raffi3
Yes, life with C1 does seem to be an endless struggle for (some of) us. Not sure why - the UI just isn't as slick as I am used to.
My tip is to prepare a submission in Word and copy to the ticket. Then at least the spelling will be OK and you will never lose a draft!
Best wishes
