    This means you cannot process your file into cmyk space directly from C1.
    You have to export first an RGB (preferably Adobe, imho) and then convert to cmyk in PS with black compensation…
    Not a good idea, something to be worked on by the Phase devs…

    actually you can. but old school.
    you have to push the black level of the file with the (upper) black slider in the levels tool so that the blacks don't clip.
    of course this will affect the whole image, so you have to counter balance the midtones, too.
    However BPC is a really useful feature here and it's a pitty it's not available in C1.
    I've outlined in how far the missing BPC feature also leads to a mismatch between C1's preview and the processed TIF viewed in Photoshop here: viewtopic.php?p=43123#p43123
    So... file a feature request 😉
