SHOOTING TETHERED
Is there a way to have the subfolder names set to match my naming convention? So when I open a new tethered session they would have the naming convention I specify and not have to change each time I open.
I looking in the settings are but didn't see anything.
Thanks in advance!

Hey Joe,
I can't quite understand what you're after regarding subfolders. Do you mean the "next capture naming" set to a specific way?
e.g <Job Name>__<4 Digits>
You can save presets so its quick to change each time by clicking [...] on Next Capture Naming tool.0 -
LS,
I think he means calling the folders inside of the session something different than default.
If that is the case Joe, then the answer is no.
One thing you could do, if you truly have default named folders that fulfill the same functions as Capture/Selects/Output/Trash, is to create a fresh session once with your named folders and then zip it. Every time you need a new session, you can unzip it into place (presumably somewhere where you will not be replacing a session folder of the same name). Inside of this session, say if you have multiple capture folder names, you could dummy in a dozen or a hundred of them and then use a program like Name Mangler to rename them according to your needs. This might not get to the exact names you are looking for right off the bat, but it should get you considerably closer.0 -
LS - I am referring to what MWT is saying.
MWT - Thanks for the info. Bummer you can't make your own default names. Seems like it would be a simple thing to have within the settings options.
Thank you both for responding!
