Same problem on PC platform ...
I am also using C1 and Photoshop CS on PC and the colors of my pictures looks quite different in the 2 applications allthough both are set with Adobe RGB 1998. Monitor is a calibrated Lacie 321. Strange situation ...

Perhaps a simple solution - have you activated the 'tagged' button (the title line showing 'xxx camera profile' > Adobe RGB (1998).

I running on a PC platform with dual Lacie321 screens calibrated with EyeOne.

However, when using my PC laptop (also calibrated) the images appear dull also. I have put this down to the graphics card of the laptop being inadequate to generate satisfactory colour display. Viewing the same raw images on a desktop PC with a high-power graphics card the images look alright.

Lastly, I assume that you have selected the right colour profile in C1 Colour Management!

I too am having problems with colour management issues across C1 and Photoshop.

    Here is my issue.

I am using C1 3.7.1 to convert my RAW files captured with a 1Ds. I then use PS CS to do any fine tuning that needs to be done. I am working on a Mac Power Book on extended desktop with a Lacie electron 19 Blue IV CRT monitor. The Lacie is calibrated with an Eye One Match.

The problem I am having is that images opened in PS do not match those in the C1 preview in the way of colour. This is only the case however when the C1 preview and the PS image are both viewed on the Lacie monitor. When I move the PS image over to the PB monitor the colours match (well very close) between the C1 preview and the PS image. When C1 is moved from monitor to monitor the image stays the same. Now when I quit C1 the PS image remains consistent between monitors.

If anyone is able to help me out with this I would greatly appreciate it. I have been trying to resolve this issue for the past day and a half and am no further ahead.

I have reinstalled C1 3.7.1 and trashed my PS preferences and did a restart.

I have my colorsync profiles at Generic for RGB, CMYK and Grey and am using Apple CMM.

    Ted.

    Ted,

Is this a problem that has recently developed? If so, I would suggest that you try and delete the colorsync prefs as described in Cause 2 of the document John Luke linked to.

    Best wishes
    Jason
