Image file size
Hi,
I'm probably overlooking this, but I can't seem to find in metadata, file Size! I'm keen to know file size of variants, often with crops. Is there a way to do this.
Sorry in advance if it's a stupid question, but it's nowhere obvious to me or easily queried in the help info.

A process recipe will offer an estimate according to the settings applied.0 -

Very rough estimate !! I think Phase One should improve this, as it is very useful for publishing on web sites.... or forums. It shouldn't be so difficult.
As far as I am concerned, I try 2 or 3 times by successive approximations using different jpeg compressions, for instance, after having got a more reliable size using Photoshop, Affinity Photo, or even Apple's Preview.0 -
I have been using the trial and error option too, and it is a pain when you're trying to get images to a required file size. Although I'm no fan of Apple photos I appreciated the file size in mb as part of image info.... 0 -
PhotoMechanic is able to do that. 0 -
Plenty of softwares do that accurately, such as PhotoMill, Photoshop, Affinity Photo, and even Apple's Preview..... except Capture One 😄 0
