Heeeeelp!!!! 4.5.2 will not start.
I'm now facing a serious problem as 4.5.2 will not start. It always hang on start-up after it crashed and need to be force quitted on every attempt. Re-installing doesn't resolve it. Re-store from Time Machine backup doesn't resolve it. Re-storing to previous versions doesn't. Dumping pref files doesn't resolve it.
I've tried in every way to make this program work for me, one way or another for it's good points where it outpowers other software.
However, the way things are at the moment we have entered sillystate a long time ago.
This "hundreds of Euro miracle program" is not only causing me trouble and loss of time. It is also causing loss of money on top of the cost of the program itself.
I seriously hope one or other in Phase One can throw the red nose and funny hat in the bin and help sort this problem out before I get off my f...... rocker!
The way I see it, things are now in such a state that trying it out in a court of law would be very tempting.

Oh what a wonderful attitude. So full of peace and love.
I bet if you bought yourself a brand new Merc and the engine wouldn't run properly you would be quite happy with that. If it finally after a short while seized up completely you would still bw happy as a pig in shit. And ofcourse, the thought of giving the manufacturer a bit of stick wold be the remotest idea in your head. After all, such a thing would only be what one could expect. A mere trivial.
Peace on earth!0 -
Perhaps if you could provide some more information on when it stopped working (after an update etc), any error messages you may or may not have seen, crash logs, machine specs, or any other details on other than some diatribe may help us to help you solve the problem?? 0 -
I gave the OP some advise in a parellel thread ( viewtopic.php?p=25816#p25816 ) but have not heard back any results yet. 0 -
Had a think about this one.... Have you gone to the home user> library> application support> capture one> batch queue and killed the contents of the folder? 0
