    It seems the default Capture One session is not available or corrupt or the user preferences of CO5 which points to the session last used. When you delete the user preferences, CO5 will probably create a new Capture One session (=Capture One Library folder in Pictures folder with Capture One.col50 file).

    Many thanks for the reply. I deleted the folder as suggested...unfortunately it made no difference. In fact, the folder was not re-created as expected.

    Clive, have you tried to delete the preference file (com.phaseone.captureone.*.plist) from the user/Library/Preference folder?

    Just tried that - makes no difference. I think I'm going to have to log a support ticket. This is weird....
