Best way to make photo look like a painting

Hi,

I`m fairly new to Capture One 9
I`ve been adjusting some of my photos to make them look like paintings.
I`ve adjusted the HDR , Clarity, Exposure etc ..
They look pretty good so far but just wondering if there are tricksésettings that I`m not aware of.
There might also be a tutorial on this but I could not find it.
Any feedback is welcome

  I don't think you'll get very far in C1, that is, assuming you want something REALLY looking like a painting. C1 is not designed for that type of editing.
  
  If you want something really looking like a painting, then something like Topaz Impression is the way to go. There's a few free standalone apps out there that can do something similar too. eg. Fotosketcher.

  I needed to make images that look like paintings. Here is how I did it:
  
  With Capture One :
  - I reduced the texture -100 on clothes
  - I increased the clarity to +15/+30 as the case
  
  With Photoshop I added Blur at some places (hair) and I also added some texture on the background.
