sort by date as default

How can I change to sort by date as my default?

Ever time I shoot a new image it changes the sort back to by NAME.

Im shooting with Canon 7D tethered using EOS Utility to get the file into Cap One 5.2.

    Agreed. They should have built the program so that sorting by date is the default. Please let us know if there is a way to make this happen.
