D810 tethered not working properly with 8.x
hi there,
just checked tethered support for D810, but all I can get in terms of image is an all white and coloured outline sort of file.
(sorry can see no option to insert picture, except with access to server)
have tried all sorts of RAWformats (uncompr,compr,lossless compr).
live view looks all jagged on the retina display, except for 100% view and focussing only works on the central focus area, once you click outside of that in the navigator window, C8 says focussing... and stops to work.
my opinion :
if you offer support than make it work properly or don't bother. I personally don't have time to deal with bugs like that.
same as support for Xtrans files but no automask feature...
I have really been trying to work with this software, as I still think that result can be stellar, but I'm just gonna stop now.

Please note that Capture One 8 only supports Compressed NEF RAW format as discussed many times on the forum.
Please change your camera to the standard compressed NEF format.
Uncompressed NEF files are not supported and have not been for previous Nikon Camera.0 -
