De-activation issues
I am having deactivation issues after connecting an external eSATA drive to my PC. I have four other external hard drive cased (3 firewire and 1 USB) and connecting and disconnecting any one or all of these drives has never caused a problem. The eSATA drive is new and the first time I attempted to use Capture One while this drive was running the C1 software deactivated, went to trial mode and still refused to work.
Is anyone else having this issue with eSATA drives?

I have had deactivation issues for months now. No solution from Phase oNe yet...except wait for version 4!
If I add an external drive after my computer has booted up and then open Cap 1, it will be deactivated. Usually if I boot up the external drive(s) at the same time I boot muy computer, I can them open Cap 1 without problems. This is a real pain as I have 7-8 external drives that I am constantly using. I have uninstalled XCap one, removed all external drives and reinstalled and reactivated..and.........no better. Any suggestions?? (7/8 drives are FIrewire...I normally have not more than 3 operating at one time)0 -
Please See - http://forum.phaseone.com/viewtopic.php?t=3155
and Note the line: the system ID protocol May Change with version 4.0
We know any change in HD will trigger a revert to Trial.
Keeping the boot-up HD configuration constant seems to be a key.
But we continue to gather information from customers.
