    Mr. Reasons,

    You need to select the .exe file of Photoshop.
    At the Preferences pulldown, Under File > Preferences choose the Miscellaneous Settings tab. At this window you can check Automatically open processed images
    One of the choices is to select the .TIF associated application which is likely the one you have marked ( this can be reset in Windows so that Photoshop is the .TIF associated application ), while the other choice is Selected application.
    Hit Choose... and a browse window will appear. Search for C:/Program Files/Adobe/Photoshop 7.0 folder and within is the photoshop.exe file
    Select and hit open. Finally, be sure that the Automatically open processed images box is checked under the Batch editor tool.
