Can't delete multiple images in 4.8.2

I'm unable to delete multiple images and am wondering what I need to do to change that. I can have multiple images selected, but when I hit delete it only gets rid of the first one. It works fine on my desktop, but won't do it on my MacBook Pro. Any suggestions?

    Check the ON/OFF status of the Edit Primary Only. On one computer it is probably OFF, on the other it is ON. Must be OFF to delete (or process or whatever) ALL.
