Lens Correction Tool Profiles

I hope this is not a silly question, but, is there going to be support for Canon Lenses? I only see profiles for either Carl Zeiss or Hasselblad lenses.

    That is not impossible but by far not our first priority (which might not come as a suprise)

    I'm trying out the new version, and I seem to remember there being such profiles in 3.x. I only have a Canon Powershot G5. While I acknowledge that this is not your primary target audience, I am a tad perplexed why such profiles would not carry over. Is there really any benefit whatsoever to "correcting" with a generic profile? It seems counter-productive to correct without knowing the lens characteristics.
