Importing Ratings and Colour Tags

Hi,
I'm trying to integrate CaptureOne with an external image viewer that I use as a front-end rating tool. If I insert the following into the correct section of the XMP file, then Capture one reads the rating I have set:
<xmp:Rating>5</xmp:Rating>

However, if I then put an element like the following into the XMP, Capture One ignores it, and does not set the colour tag:
<xmp:Label>Purple</xmp:Label>

Any ideas why the first one works and the second one doesn't?

  I am not an XMP or metadata guru, but in short I think that star rating is standardized in XMP exchange, and labels are not.
  
  I did a brief test in Adobe Bridge < - > CO7 XMP exchange. CO7 does not read or write any label information, only rating. Each has there own type of labels and their its own naming.

  Yep that is correct and it is not even standardized between PhaseOne's own Media Pro and CO7. 🤓

  Thanks for the updates. What I am doing is re-creating the CaptureOne values (i.e. I've checked exported XMPs and made sure my "imported" XMP exactly matches it). Isn't it reasonable to expect this to work? Do I need to request this as an enhancement?
