bw images

I want to take a few images in bw. When I set my Canon 20D to bw mode and start shooting tethered Capture One Pro displays color captures in the preview? Why is that?

    Adam,

    Because your In-camera settings pertain to in-camera processed images ( shooting JPEGs )
    or if shooting RAW, the data is interpreted by the Canon software only.

    If you want B&W images from RAW Canon files in Capture One, you will need to use the
    Phase One Effects B&W camera profiles which are RGB profiles.
    These are set at the Color Management settings window.
    The profiles install with the PRO (or DB - Phase One Digital Back) version of Capture One only.
    Another option is to use the Grayscale profiles at Destination.
