Apple photos library import

Hi all,

I thought I'd give apple photos a go but it's really not for me. I had an active subscription to C1 so decided to migrate to that once and for all.

Does anyone know of a way to import an apple photos library to C1? I hoped the internal format was the same so I just renamed it from .photoslibrary to .aplibrary and gave the aperture importer a go. Sadly it crashed before importing any pictures (although it did start to create a folder structure inside the C1 catalog).

Any thoughts on the best way to do this?

  You will have to export the photos and then import, there is no way to import them directly.

  Thanks - that's what I ended up doing in the end. It took a few days on and off, but all good now!
