Star Rating shows in Metadata tab, but not in browser

Hi there,

after my other issues now I have one with metadata: star rating appears only in the tab, but NOT in the browser. I cannot even rate some pictures that I imported in the browser, but only when I click on the Metadata tab. Also the menu and key-rating seems to work sometimes, then not. Anybody knows whats going on?

  I created a new catalogue and just imported rated jpgs, sidecar xmp AND embedded IPTC. CAP1 ignores any rating and shows pictures as unrated.

  I have had the same issue, but when I closed the catalog and re-opened it, everything showed up fine.
  
  Also, make sure the images are 'editable' (not video, not too small), otherwise you can't change ratings nor color tags. Stupid, but's the way it is.
