Whenever I use Capture One to process RAW images taken with my Sony NEX-7 the colour temperature appears too high by about 500K. .......

Interestingly, when I view the same images in Lightroom 4 the colour temperature is displayed as being 500-600K lower than shown in Capture One, resulting in a more normal appearance. ....

I much prefer Capture One to Lightroom 4 and I won't be switching just because I have to move the CT slider, but I'd rather I didn't have to.

    Has anyone else noticed this?

I have noticed that both LR and CO often have different temperatures and tones in a default, auto, or as shot mode. But I have see where one is sometimes hot, or the other cool, or visa versa. I have also seen them the give a similar look even with different temperatures.
I have just written that off to different conversion algorithms, and I don't worry about it.
I often convert by grey car, then adjust to my eye.
