D5 wont tether to MAC OSX 10.4.5

Today I bought a new MAC Mini and also capture one PRO. I am trying to tether my Canon 5D to NO avail. I have tried using Versions 3.7.3 & 3.7.4. I also have a 10D and a 1Ds MkII, these both teather fine. When I plug in the 5D it just spins? I have also tried different USB connections, cords and also other computers. It all works except on my new machine. Could it be that my System is conflicting with the 5D only? It is the only thing I can think of.. Need to shoot tomorrow with it interstate. Can anyone HELP ME ☹️

    I have just tried the D5 using the OSX 10.4 and it works? It only seems to be 10.4.3? Any ideas anyone?

    Did you go to the settings menu and change Connect from
    connect> Print/PTP
    to
    Connect> PC connect.

    The 5D comes set up to connect via usb to a printer by default
