Nikon D800 ?Color?

Tested the D800 this past weekend with 6.4.1 shooting RAW. The skin tones were way off and I was wondering if anyone who has a longer history with Capture can confirm an assumption. CO's current version includes support for D800, however this does not mean that they've properly profiled the camera and that a later version may include a more accurate RAW conversion for these files?

    I ask because I'm trying to spot a pattern in problems being reported with profiles...

    As to your question, the release notes generally refer to "preliminary support" if profiling isn't complete, so if D800 support isn't described like that (and having just checked, it isn't), this presumably means that improvements won't be forthcoming unless a problem is officially reported and confirmed.

    Specifically in the skin tones where the baseline camera (Phase w/ Leaf back) rendered skin tones, dead on (pink), the D800 appeared drastically different and w/ a noticeable yellow cast.

    i stayed with 6.4 but i had problems developing high iso files (see my topic about it - c1 6.4 d4 develop and phocus develop)
