"Edit All Selected Variants" is probably off.

I didn't even know about this. Yes it was off. Why would you ever want it off?

    thanks btw

I use it a lot when editing weddings or events. I have multiple images selected to keep a similar color grading while I copy / apply settings to and from individual images. Would be impossible if that function didn't exist. 😊

There are times when it would be better off. Say I take a bunch of 100 photos including 20 of dragonflies. I could select all the dragonfly photos, then apply star ratings to them. If that option is turned on, hitting 4 will apply 4 stars to all 20 at once. If I have that option turned off, I can apply a different rating to each one, while still having only the 20 dragonflies shown in the browser but not the other 80 images.
