Thanks for the hard work! I know it's not easy to keep up on the updates happening to OS X and making overall improvements. 😊 I'll be upgrading my 2011 iMac this week.

Can you confirm/deny full 10.11 support?

    From Jim_DK

    "OS support

    Mac OS X 10.11"

    Sorry if it's confusing.

How to register new Capture One Pro 8.3.4 installation as DB version?

The selection of different versions dialog does not appear.

update: worked around the problem by installing ver. 7 as DB version, then upgrading to ver. 8.3.4 which then registered as a DB version.

I can confirm its very stable with 10.11.1 / 8.3.4, tethering to 1DX and 5D MK II. Now awaiting for SoftRAID to fully support 10.11 before moving over on shoot computers

Yes - I agree. I upgraded El Capitan to 10.11.1 and C-1 to 8.3.4 and everything works. I am not certain that it is any faster with Open CL turned on, although I have not yet done any complicated post processing tasks.

Does this release leverage Metal where possible?

    Nope.
Metal is basically just another layer on top of OpenCL.
We hope that Apple will still honor the open standards in the future.

Christian Gruner if to look on iOS side it looks like they are slowly forcing Metal framework for any media processing.

Still no progress bar for Nikon D800. Also the battery gas gage does not reflect the true charge.

Since the last update i've massive display problems and export also. The JPEGs are incorrupt 🤬

Hope for a fast reply on my support cases!

Okay, if i disable Open CL in C1 the export files are fine and also display in the interface. But come on, that sucks!
