can't Import catalogs
Now I can't import catalogs, either.
Wow. A very fragile product. Works great for 2 weeks then starts to "degenerate".
Last night I deleted the application and it's scattered detritus. Re-downloaded and installed. In all cases I am working with 9.0.3.
Now, import of a catalog "in place" does not work.
Sessions can't be imported.

This is now solved. A few layers of subtlety.
First, links break when you move a catalog from usb drive to local drive. Locate should fix but you can't do it at the top level containing folder. Each and every folder must be individually "located". Sometimes even this is not enough--individual images must be "located." Should not be so, but there is C1 fragility in this.
I had a catalog for which I had not rebuilt links for every folder and image. It does import but as the original are needed to generate preview and thumbnails for the new catalog these operations cannot be completed. So, in a way import happens but the visible images are not imported. But, the partial import can block later attempts so it is essential to remove the imported folders and really do the process again.
Many layered complexity of C1 and user error are the causes. Now solved.0 -
Yes, C1 seems to be not very forgiving, glad you sorted it out. 0
