Rawedits in CP8 and MP

I'm testing CP8 and MP. Edits that I do on my nef's doesn't show up in MP (they show up in CP8). Is this the way it's supposed to work?

    Did you set the 'Preferred Engine' to 'Phase One' on the 'RAW' tab in Edit -> Preferences -> Media Redering... (Windows Version)?
    If not, you might have to Rebuild the previews (Crtl + B) or Action -> Rebuild item, after you have changed the rendering engine.

    MP does not have the CO8 engine in it yet.

    I'm on Mac. Tech support told me that There is no ETA on when MP will be updated to work with CP8. Very discouriging!

    Ouch -- that is the first I have heard that.
    I did hear from tech support that they would fix CO8 so that it would accept files sent from MP.
    I absolutely need that if I am to use CO8 in sessions.

    I did hear from tech support that they would fix CO8 so that it would accept files sent from MP.
    I absolutely need that if I am to use CO8 in sessions.

    There are actually two issues here, if I am correct.

    One is the exchange between CO8 and MP. I believe Jim is referring to that. That might be an issue to fix on CO8 side.

    Another is that MP currently does not have support for the CO8-engine. That does not limit the ability to transfer images from CO8 to MP, but MP is not able to show CO8 edits, like it can from CO7 and earlier. That is a issue to on the MP side. This is what Hans is referring to.
