LAB_Color space
Hi,
I would like to know if anyone try to make ICC profiles using color editor in Capture One from any of available color
correction targets ,doesn't matter which one because all manufacturers have numeric values of color patches from their
targets available on their sites but in LAB color space and sRGB,AdobeRGB spaces.
Numeric values of specific pixel are displayed in viewer but for make preset or profile in color editor I must know in which space that values are defined , as I understand it's values from working space and working space is output space which is set in output module(I'm not sure if that's correct?).
LAB space as working space is not available as I know which mean that values cannot be compared for making preset or profile(in CaptureOne )-in Photoshop is. AdobeRGB is available but for output profile I use J. Holmes DCam3 profile because
much better separations in highlights but mostly in shadows(colors are also nicer?!) and that mostly become visible in conversions to printer profiles.
So if anyone have some experience with this I would be thankful to hear about it.
Thank you....D
