Delete multiple pictures
Hey,
how can I delete multiple pictures (in folder view), if I select a few pictues with "shift" or "apple a" and hit backspace, only the first picture would be deleted. Same thing with marking multiple pictures with a color flag. What do I wrong?
Best Regards
Thomas

Sorry, I found the resolution at this moment:
Shift + click trash symbol0 -
"Shift" + "1" marks all selected pictures with one star.
"Shift" + "-" doesn't mark all selected pictures as "red".
Any idea?0 -
You can also toggle between "Edit all Selected" and "Edit Primary Variant". Primary in this case being the currently active image from the selected set.
That is particularly pertinent to your color flag question (and similar settings).

ok thanks. But it's not consistent, if "primary/all" is deselected "shift" + "1" works fine and "shift" + "-" doesn't work. I think there is no reason to make a difference there, right? 0 -

Sorry, some confusion as my last post crossed with yours. I was really answering the one before.
Using Windows the system differentiates between the Numeric Keypad and number keys.
The number keys (for setting rating) always work on the man keyboard but NumLock (or equivalent) need to be active if using the specialist Number Keypad (or its proxy). However you may see some anomalies. Then again you can re-define the keys used to suit your needs so in some ways there are options available that simply mean that dedicating key to actions with a lot of default rules may be a bit limiting espcacially when users (who have a particular need or interest in hot-keying most of their activities) will likely re-define the suggested "defaults" anyway wherever they can.
Personally I am quite comfortable with turning "edit all" on and off but if that doesn't work so well for you I would suggest raising the matter with Phase using a Support Case in order to obtain an official response and flag up that there are anomalies with which you are not comfortable. Doing that is their preferred way of getting to know what matters to the users and measure how important it might be over all.
HTH.
