I'm having the same problem. Is there any response to the question?

All of the pictures are distorted with straight lines heavily curved. The jpg files of the same pictures do not have this issue.

That's correct. This heavily distorted file is what your Actual RAW file looks like. 😭
Notice when you compare it against your JPEG how much of the file is cropped out.

When I look at the lens correction section none of the controls are usable. Greyed out ...

This is also correct. Currently the RX100 is in "Preliminary" support, which means certain features are not available or finished. Unfortunately for the RX100 one of the crucial tools to make the files useable is the Lens Correction. We're working on it and hopefully we'll get it finalizes shortly.

I can still not develop my RX 100 files? When will preliminary support change to support? I realy long for this! Latest version 7.0.2 did not fix it ☚ī¸

This "just" means the RX100 does not have buildin lens correction (yet).
You can manually setup a generic lens model in the lens tool. After this your straight lines are (almost) preserved.

    Hi Lionel,
is there any news on full support for the RX100 yet? it's been around for a long time now.

An answer from anyone at Phase one would do 😄

It has been over 4 months since you said that you are "working on it". How many more months of "work" do you think this lens profile will require?

Sony RX100 was announced Jun 6, 2012. It was available in Europe in July, 2012.
Capture One Pro 7.1.1 is out today! Unfortunately Sony RX100 file support is still preliminary.
    Is Anybody Out There?

I don't think it's going to be fixed, more likely it will be brushed under the carpet like the Canon S95/100 series cameras were, pity though as it's a great little camera.

If Adobe can do it, Phase One can do it!

    Yet, another miserable customer..
Could you PLEASE finalize the lens profile, so we can get full support for this little wonder.
Many people would like to use this for a strong backup, or carry along - including myself.

There is a way to import your Sony RX100 images into C1. Its a workaround and involves Adobe but for me it worked. Upon download into Lightroom I choose to convert to DNG and ditch the raw files (which was not my smartest move).I then used the DNG convertor of Adobe to convert the RX100 DNG files to another DNG but with custom settings. These were:
    * Backward version of 1.1 selected
    * both boxes for linear and uncompressed ticked

And lo and behold C1 was able to import the images. I do not know is a straight DNG conversion would work, but I assume it does. I can't test this because I've ditched the Sony raw files. Hope this works for other people.

Capture One Pro 7.1.2 is out today! Unfortunately Sony RX100 file support is still preliminary/

I was waiting for this update every day hoping for support, but I am very disappointed again.
Please somebody tell us seriously at Phase One, will you ever give us full support for this camera or not?

    Hi Drew,

Do you know what is up with Sony RX-100 Support?

The download does not work! "Error 500 try a different browser"

    Tried Two different browsers.

for the RX100 I'd recommend to use Iridient Developer (formerly known as "RAW Developer").
Great demosaicing, great tones & colors, full support of automated lens corrections.
Load it and be happy 😊

    Thowi,
A lot of people using DSLR's are also using the RX100, it's become a very popular lightweight camera.
And I for one would like to use C1 for all cameras that I own preferably bug free and with full support đŸ¤Ŧ

Thanks for the tip though on Iridient Developer, I have recently purchased Aperture which so far is a treat to use after the bugginess of C1 pro.

Yes, this is frustrating and disappointing. So much easier to forgo CaptureOne and use Photoshop.

Same problem for the RX1. It is just one focal lens and still no support for distorsion correction. I am really surprised about the bad support by c1.

If anyone from C1 reading this post. Please learn from Photo Ninja and do your job!

What can we do, to make them to listen to our voices?

Good news! 10.7.3 is out now and something happened in the lens department!
The picture is a smaller crop but much better now.
If I compare the basic settings the picture is also lighter and noisier than the Sony's JPG one.
    Anybody else?
