Are you hinting at burnt highlights? Did you try to adjust the HDR>Highlights slider?

I can't see the C1 settings in your screen shot so cannot comment on anything specific. However, my experience is different to yours. Up until about 6 months ago, I used ViewNX 2 and Capture NX-D for RAW development of files from my D7100 before importing to the library in Apple's Aperture. I then moved to CaptureOne 8Pro for RAW development, editing, and library management and have found it better than the Nikon programs. However, I do not use Auto Adjust in C1, as I found it better to start from scratch with the tools in the Exposure and Color tabs.

    Hallo C1 user,
i love to use C1 to my NIKON Workflow, and i wold like to update to C1 9 , but something disappoint me after i compared NX-D with C1 8 RAW engine.
    look here :

is the RAW engine in C1 9 also the same ?

    thanks für help.

i didnt do any kind of correction bevor in C1 on the RAW file .
also in in Nikon NX-D .
the image came from the Camera directly.

i contact friends from Nikon about that, they said , NIKON can read there NIKON Raws exact " Now How".
maybe they don't want to give it to authors vendors .

Capture One still bee great 😊

is there any good icm for NIKON D700 in Capture One.
can i import a icm setting direkt from NXD in C1
    Thanks für helping

Well maybe you should. What's the point of using C1 if you don't adjust the output to your taste?

My guess is that you have some of the highlight recovery stuff turned on in-camera, which Nikons software reads.

Try pulling the Highlight slider in CO, and you will see the highlights coming down perfectly.

well there is a some strange phenomena happening, i used a long Tele Objektiv with 600 mm focal lens
when taking pictures with the camera goes a little over exposer, but not high-key after i load the pictures in NX-D i get good look as C1 8.
    please now that...
this is not a reclamation for C1 8 , i just wont to study my fault...
C1 is doing good job, i now also that the HD setting , Color and Dynamic Rang interpretation
in C1 is fantastic , but when i load my picture at the first time in C1 its give me a strenge look as when
    i loaded it in NIKON-Nx-D.

here is some example, a original Nikon NEF images coming from my camera,
please tray it in yours labor or computer and give me feedback.

    Thanks for all

They look about right to me in 9.0.3 using either of the ICC profiles available for rthe Nikon D700.

005 has a rather large yellow/orange patch in the top right corner but assume that is out of focus sun on a white wall? It makes the Histogram look strange but in general it is well spread.

006 is a little exposed to the right at the dark end. Auto adjustment makes it more balanced but may not be the final look you want.

I'm not really sure what sort of look you expect but if they were taken in low but clear light levels with surrounding buildings mostly white birds in shadow but bursts of local sunlight avaialble - then

I'm impressed that you got as much sharpness as you did using a 600mm at 1/60th sec!

well the main problem that i found it was at the Head of the Bird area , Capture One 8 shows me at the first time when using the Nikon ICC generic v2 camera setting no better details like the NX-D do.
also the Bird wings color are been showed different in C1 8 " light gray " as in NX-D , because NX-D shows them moor contras with detail better.

I think the responses to the OP are giving the feedback desired, so I'll only comment that the Tamron 15-600 is a superb lens at a bargain price! Based on well over 100 shots with in on my D7100, covering everything from BIF to candid portraits to close ups, whatever else may have been problematic it wasn't the lens 😎

    Not strange just different 😊
Each raw converter will interpret the image differently. Here's a LR version just FYI:
