Next Capture Naming

I have a small but annoying problem: I have saved a Next Capture Naming preset to the "format Name + 1 Digit Counter". Which is fine, but every time I start a new session, I have to go into the format specifier and choose that format again. Is there any way to save that as the preferred naming preset? Thank you!!

    The workaround is to create a so-called session template. This is just a regular session, which you do not use for shooting but just to set what you like each session to have. Next, you close the session, and duplicated and rename it each time you need a new session.

    Good idea - that will work. I'm surprised that there isn't a simple way to save your preferences though. I would think that would be something the tech guys could easily do.
