renaming
is it not possible to batch rename imported images.
i realize it is possible to rename as i process images, but for me it is important that
the names of the output files match the names of the raw file.
also i am desperately missing the indicator that showed me which files are already processed (green wheel) and which are still to be processed (yellow wheel).
i cant wait for the captureone 3 update (i really hope there is one coming!!)

Andreas,
Welcome to the forum. You can batch rename images during import with CO4, although renaming options are fairly limited compared to specialized tools in the market. I can be sufficient for you, however.
In the Import Images screen, left below, under Naming, you can find renaming options (Capture Name, Job Name, both and Job Name + counter).0 -
Rename on import is no use to me. I rename y so that I can merge images from multiple cameras by time shot. after I have done my initial cull of the unusable.
I need to do it in the directory.0 -
yes i know i am able to rename as i import the files,
have you notized that the counter ist messing everything up if you already
deleted several images from the previous import (made a selection, deleted the
unusable ones).
it is a realy big help to be able to rename in the directory after importing.
plus co3 had the option to choose at which number to start renaming, so you
could prevent to have double or tripple names with the annoying -1 or -2 or -3
in the end.
also i am desperately missing the indicator that showed me which files are already processed (green wheel) and which are still to be processed (yellow wheel), will this be a feature of co4.0
