If I a utility - Photoshop or or - see utilities wants to indicate this isn't there always a? before that is (in the box) and it's gone in the store (the program). So, I can edit a picture in another program, without going through the Finder.

Are you talking about Helper Applications? Are Helper Applications called "Utilities" in your language version of Media Pro? Are you trying to add a Helper Application but then see a question mark ("?") when you try to add it? Or are you seeing a question mark ("?") when you try to open an image with a Helper Application?

We're having trouble understanding the problem. You might wish to use Google Translate (https://translate.google.com) to generate an English version of your question. Then paste the English results here.

Please report this problem ("Helper Applications feature is broken in Mac OS 10.10 Yosemite") to Phase One support. Go to http://www.phaseone.com/en/SupportMain.aspx and click Contact technical support to create a support ticket.

This will be a good test to learn if Phase One really intends to continue development/improvement of Media Pro as a standalone DAM software program or if they have abandoned the program (as many users suspect).

i am sorry but Media Pro is not supported on the 10.10 OS.
The error you are seeing is a result of the OS changes. Some users have reported a solution in reinstalling the software or starting with a new installation of the OS and Software. I apoligize but as the software is not supported in the 10.10 Yosemite OS I cannot assist further in the troubleshooting process.

    Kind Regards,
    Phase One Support

    Hallo Herr Schulz,

    English translation (via Google Translate):
"We were able to reproduce the behavior under the current operating system Mac OS10.10. An adaptation of MediaPro to the new OS is necessary. Unfortunately, I can tell you still no date on which the compatible update will be released by MediaPro."

It is almost 2 months since 10.10 was released to the public and about 6 months since developers got it...still no updates from Phase One. You'd think they would not keep us waiting so long to solve this problem! ☹️

Since I work in software development I can understand the need to take whatever time is necessary to do a proper job of supporting Mac OS X v10.10.x. I just wish the Media Pro support team would go beyond stating the obvious (i.e., an update is necessary) and tell their user base that, indeed, an update is in the works with a release date to be determined.

you know i think Phase one don't give no moor attention to Media Pro ❗️
just like Apple Strategy letting the people waiting in the cloud 😁
i must say that the functionality of MP with C1 8 and OSX 10.01 is now very disaster !
