catalog backup and restore
I user the ability to back up the catalog periodically. However, it is not at all obvious how to restore a catalog should the primary one become corrupted. How is this done?

Isn't it amazing that there is not a word about the backups in the online help?

I guess they expect us to restore manually. It is quiet easy if you know how.
Quit CaptureOne, go to your backup location and find the version you want to restore.
You will see a database file with the extension cocatalogdb and an adjustments folder.
Now, when you go to the catalog you want to restore, right click on the catalog and select 'Show Package Contents' and you will see the same files in your current catalog. Restoring a backup basically just means that you replace the database file and adjustments in the catalog with the files from the backup. And before you do any of this, better make your own backup first in case something goes wrong.0
