Kernel Panic In Capture One 7.0.1
Hello,
My iMac has been experiencing Kernel Panics in Capture One 7.0.1. The panics only occur when processing files. We have been shooting tethered with a Canon Mark III without any probelms. Has anyone experienced a similar problem and if so have you found a solution?
Thanks!
Emily

Is OpenCL enabled? If so that may be your problem. To turn off go to prefs>general and under Hardware Acceleration turn both display and processing to NEVER. Hopefully that solves your problem. 0 -
I support the tip to set the OpenCL setting to Never but you might do it for processing only as the issue plays only during processing. 0 -
Hey Paul, do you mean the issue with enabling Open CL is only a problem during processing images? Do you think it smart to enable hardware acceleration while doing other tasks like tethered shooting, image panipulation, browsing etc? 0 -

There are two distinct settings for OpenCL hardware acceleration in CO7, one for display, one for processing. One might work, the other not for your type of GPU. Hence, it is great you can tweak each one independently.0 -
Do you know of a list of current supported graphics cards we can refer to? 0 -
