Importing DNG files with prior adjustments
Trying to import DNG files into Capture One 9 that had been previously edited in LightRoom from another photographer and adjustments that were made in LightRoom are not coming over.
Within importing options I AM clicking to make sure that "Include Existing Adjustments" is turned on, and still the adjustments disappear upon import.
Has anyone had this issue and know how to resolve?
Thanks - Jeff Herbert

This is a fact, not a bug or issue that can be resolved. Because the adjustments are LR adjustments.
"Include Existing Adjustments" works with adjustments from CO sessions and CO exports (originals with adjustments). Not with LR adjustments. LR is another software, from another vendor (Adobe). It has different algorithms for calculation. Re-using LR numbers in corresponding CO tools would not create the same result and are not imported. And some of CO's tools are very different compared to LR.

Understandable - however it was my impression that when a file was saved as a DNG, that it created a new 'raw' file and embedded all adjustments made into that file.

Apparently C1 doesn't understand the ICC profiles embedded in DNG files "converted" from Raw, with the possible exception of supported cameras that use DNG as their native Raw format. This is documented. I've seen documentation that in order to use the original Raw ICC profile, the Raw file must be embedded in the DNG (thus approximately doubling the size of the DNG file).
Being Adobe's own "standard", their apps apparently read DNG ICC profiles correctly. Aperture and some other apps I've used also do a good job. But when I've tried to read DNG files that were made by Adobe's DNG Converter (and without embedded original Raw files), the results have been really bad. Now I never convert to DNG.0
