Can Media Pro READER save anything?
I am about to pass off a thousand files or more to a client that I volunteered for. I would like to be able to give him a way to search a catalog of images.
I figured Media Pro plus Media Pro Reader would be a good solution, however, when I test the catalog with Reader I find I am able to assign ratings and labels only for the purpose of filtering while the application is running. I am not able to add more keywords either.
Once the Reader is closed the catalog reverts to whatever ratings, labels and keywords were there at the time of copying to disc.
Am I missing something or will the client not be able to add ratings and keywords if he only has the reader application. It would be ideal if they had the ability to truly organize the catalog for their purposes and not rely on me key wording correctly. They wouldn't need to import new assets.
