imacken - there is! Go to the output tool and click on "advanced". There you'll find what you asked for...

Profiles: at least you can set a default profile (just use "Styles"). It's not the same, I know...

preview files: I think they will stay with this structure.
Maybe someone can recommend a good back up strategy without deleting all the *.cop files before...

I use rsync to mirror my raw files to a remote server. It has an option to "exclude" files (by name or just extension) or full directories. I exclude any directory named Cache from my backups. Most automated backup software should have some setting to do the same.

As far as the auto "Develop" folder goes, I created an output recipe that automatically generates a "develop" folder in the folder I am working in when processing begins, works exactly the same for me now. Give it a try.

Can't see any 'advanced'. Are you talking about the Pro version? I'm on non-Pro 4.5. Maybe it's senile dementia galloping in on my part!

So, Phase One have taken one of the functions of v3 LE, omitted it from v4 and stuck it in v4 PRO.
Absolutely incredible! That, and the 2 or 3 other very important functions that were in LE that have been removed from - sorry, not implemeted in - v4 after all the complaints over the last year from users, is too much to bear.
It's not even as if they were major pieces of coding - fairly trivial actually.
There were high hopes from people that 4.5 would be the answer to what we've been moaning about, especially after a post by Ulf regarding the central cache issue.
Sadly, after this disappointment (in a long line), it definitely looks like my Phase One days are over.
Needless to say, that the rival software from Adobe and Bibble have these missing functions, and you don't have to pay hundreds of pounds for the privilege.
