Thumbnails in processed folder black
I am using a 30 day trial of Capture 1 3.6 with Mac OSX 2.8 and a Canon 1DS. I have found that once I have processed the images and go to the processed folder to view the thumbnails they appear for a second or two and then turn black. This is very frustrating when shooting a large number of images and keeping track of what is processed and what is not. This is only the case for the processed TIFF files with the JPegs showing as thumbnails. Any ideas?[/b]

sarahp,
Not sure what you are using to view the processed images. Can the processed TIFFs be opened in Photoshop?
If using Capture One to view, then there is a Preferences setting at Thumbnails > Filtering and TIFF must be checked to allow viewing .
If using another viewer, I've seen this occur in software that was unable to handle a large TIFF file, it either goes black or shows a generic thumbnail icon.
Sincerely,

Hi Keith,
I am using Capture One to view and Tiff is checked in the filtering preferences. The files open with no problems in Photoshop so I am still stumped?
Thanks for your reply,

Sarah,
I seem to remember a previous version of C1 having this problem, but I can't remember if it was 3.6.
I would suggest that you download the latest version (3.7) and try that out instead. However, there are some known issues using Capture One 3.7 with MacOs X 10.2.8 if you are shooting tethered.
