Question about formats suported??
Hello to all of you,
I would like to know if it is possible with C1, to convert a raw in bmp or fit??
If not why?? and is it on the todo list??

To the best of my knowledge is BMP not a colour managed format where by this is not a format which would make sense to support in a high-end RAW convertion software.
To be frank this is the first time I have ever heard this request.
Anyone else on the forum that wants to comment on the use fullness of this format?0 -

Hello,
BMP format is always a better format than jpeg, because it keeps more details than jpeg... And what about the fit format (used in astrophoto)?

OK, but it's very close to the size of a TIF and still you have the colour managment issue?
FIT format has the same issue, I have never heard a request, so I would like to hear from other users if this is a major request.0 -

Hi Ulf,
Tiff and jpeg are enough for me. Once you have a tiff you can convert to any other format so even jpeg is just a convenience.
Dunno why a direct conversion to bmp files would be a necessity, maybe just a convenience for some small subset of users?
