Open session in new window (or not)

Is there a way to control whether sessions get opened in an existing or new browser window? I've seen both happen, and sometimes I'd like one or the other.

    Have a look in General Preferences.

    (If there is nothing there - consider whether you could face using a Windows machine .... 😉 )

    Grant is right - on a Mac, there is a check box for this (second one down on the General tab in Preferences) saying Open in New Window.
