C1 TIFFs are not 100% compatible with PS TIFFs.
I use C1 for processing 1ds files. I then use Image Info Toolkit for adding keywords to the processed TIFFs. IIT works perfectly on Photoshop TIFFs but corrupts the C1 TIFFs. I have had to add a PS action to all my C1 TIFFs to open them and save them in another folder to turn C1 TIFFs into PS TIFFs. Obviously it would be preferable to have C1 produce TIFFs which are 100% compatible with PS TIFFs in the first place.
Is there any chance that C1 could produce PS TIFFs?

I will do some test but please try this theory first.
It seems that Information Tool Kit does not have a image reading it self but is using QuickTime. It might be that they only read thumbnail information. Check in you process tool under Advanced that the \"Create thumbnail\" box is ticked.
To the best of my knowledge PS does this by default (no option).0 -
Dear Ulf
Do you mean the 'Create Icon' tick box? I can't see a 'Create Thumbnail' box. Assuming they are the same I have it ticked. I have thumbnails visible after C1 process. The ONLY thing correct after the corruption is the thumbnail which looks OK. Problem files will not open in PS and are corrupt if re-opened in IIT.

I have now done following (My appologize for late respond)
I have been using Capture One 3.6.1 and ITT 1.5
Files: Phase One P25 and Canon 1 Ds
Developed to: Tiff 8 and 16-bit 100% Adobe 1998 as embeded profile.
Files open perfect in ITT, I apply text from every field to Tiff file.
Open files in PhotoShop with out any problem.
Am I missing something?0
